Experiencing a sense of belonging is important. Life Groups provide an environment where you ‘belong’, whether in a ministry or home group setting, with opportunities for YOU to build lasting relationships with others as we journey through life together. This happens best when we live our lives in the way that Jesus intended- loving God and loving people! (John 15: 9-16)
Life Groups offer many options. Some groups meet monthly, some bi-monthly and others gather weekly. There are two kinds of Life Groups:
- Ministry Life Groups are formed within The Bridge ministries. For example, the The Bridge Choir gathers at times beyond rehearsals and ministering on Sundays to pray for one another, support each other during times of crisis, celebrate life, and plan ministry opportunities. The Mpact Girls’ Club leadership team ministers to the young girls every week and they also gather for prayer, support and celebration – they do life together.
- Home Life Groups are comprised of four to six families each which choose the frequency of their gatherings to do life together.
There are four components of Life Groups:
Welcome- A social time of connecting, usually while enjoying good food.
Worship- Everyone is encouraged to pray and worship within your comfort zone.
Word- Study a relevant and life-changing message based in God’s Word.
Works- Intentionally serving like Jesus together as a group.
Life Groups are a great way for YOU to do life with other people just like you. In Life Groups you will discover community, fellowship, fun and a Bible Study that is relevant with practical application to your life. It is our vision to become a church of life groups rather than a church with life groups.
